Crayon Pop and Chinese group DT Boys release a new song in China

On January 26, Chrome Entertainment revealed that Crayon Pop had collaborated with Chinese group DT Boys to release a song in China titled “123 Happy New Year” through major Chinese online music portals on Jan. 22.
“123 Happy New Year” is the seasonal song with the message of wishing for happiness and prosperity in the upcoming Lunar New Year. The girls are seen wearing qipao, a traditional Chinese dress in the music video, drawing much attention.
The collaboration is part of the girl group’s plan to break into the Chinese market. Chrome Entertainment also planned to launch a Chinese reality show in which Crayon Pop introduces their favorite restaurants, hangouts and latest sightseeing places in Korea. It will air later this month.
In addition, Crayon Pop and DT Boys will perform together on Jan. 30 for the “Youth Amigo” concert held in Beijing.
