There's always prejudice towards idols who venture into acting career after debuting in an idol group. However, there are a very few who impress with their acting skills that they set opportunities for other fellow idols to challenge other fields.

For this year, Daum acknowledges two idol members who prove that their passion towards acting is deserving of applauses. EXO's D.O and Girl's Day Hyeri both receive "2015 Best Rising Actor-dol" for their exemplary skills. 

Photos of them receiving their trophies, which were straightly delivered to their filming locations are uploaded. The result is based from a voting system conducted from December 1 to 7. . D.O wins the top spot among male actor-dol with 58% of the total votes garnered from 88,530 respondents because of his impressive acting skills as a psycopath in KBS2 drama "I Remember You". On the other hand, Hyeri wins among the female actress-dol with a whopping 82% of the total votes from 33,762 respondents proving the massive popularity she is receiving on her first drama "Reply 1988".

Meanwhile, D.O is currently preparing for his two films next year "Pure Love" and "Hyung" while Hyeri is currently receiving positive feedback for her hit drama "Reply 1988".
